I have over twenty years’ experience in the property arena, built through a genuinely hands-on career covering investment, development, renovation, management, sales and finance. My experience spans every stage of the property lifecycle, allowing me to bring both practical insight and strategic understanding to everything I do.

I’ve built and grown an extensive property portfolio, working directly on renovation and development projects as well as managing sites, teams and budgets. From overseeing build programmes to navigating sales and financial decision-making, I take a calm, considered and detail-driven approach, always focused on long-term value and sound outcomes.

Sport has played a major role in my life. I started swimming at a young age, winning multiple championship titles in Hull, Humberside, Yorkshire, and the North East, and becoming a national medallist. I retired from swimming at 15, and then returned to competitive swimming at 20 after watching the Commonwealth Games on TV. Seeing my old swim friends - who I used to beat - competing at that level made me think, that could have been me if I hadn’t quit, so I decided to give it another go.

In my early twenties, I competed as an elite swimmer, winning medals at British and World Cup level. Injury forced me to retire once more at 23; shortly after achieving World Cup medals. Both my sons swim competitively and wanting to watch “Daddy race” encouraged me to come out of retirement and join the World Masters Swimming community. Since returning to the pool, I’ve achieved a World No. 1 ranking, broken British and European records, and I am currently an eleven-time European Champion. This journey has allowed me to travel the world, competing with my family cheering me on, and training alongside them wherever we holiday - which always means a pool nearby! Competitive sport has instilled discipline, resilience, and focus - qualities I carry into my professional life every day.
